Clements was established back in 1962 when it was originally conceived to serve the joinery and shop fitting industry and has enjoyed many fruitful years being of service to our loyal clients.
Originally based in a small workshop in the East of London, it soon became evident that this would be a short term base and as the clientele base grew, so too did our workshops until we relocated to our present premises in Enfield in 1982. Clements then set up as a full joinery based outfit, supplying independent joinery as well as serving the shop fitting side of business, an accolade that few companies of its day benefited from.
In 1986 the business was handed down to the next generation of the Clements family, and is still to this day proudly run by the present owner Ian Clements. Over the following years we saw the ups of the 80’s and downs of the 90’s, and it was here that we adapted to take on the rough ride by further extending our services to smaller building maintenance works.
Clements Construction Ltd was incorporated in 2015 when an opportunity arose to enable us to expand our services. Roger Da Costa and Ian Clements had already forged initial business relations when Clements supplied several high-quality joinery contracts to Roger when he was with Kier Construction and then later continued business with him when he started his own company in 1995. The two have now been work acquaintances for over 20 years and together are now pleased to offer their broad expanse of experience and services to current and prospective new clients.
