We research the market for a building contractor who could fulfil our exacting brief for a high-quality standalone office build to go inside our new warehouse space. We’ve recently moved our London studio to the Adena campus at Frestonia, W11. A vibrant, inspiring, invigorated part of London which has many talented and collaborative organisations in its community. I had the pleasure of working with Clements on a particularly challenging project that involved addressing significant subsidence issues in an occupied building. As an architect, I was impressed by their ability to navigate the complexities of this project with professionalism and expertise. The building was suffering from subsidence, necessitating extensive structural remedial work. This included underpinning and piling within the confines of the ground floor flats, all while the occupants continued to live upstairs. Clements demonstrated exceptional problem-solving skills, addressing issues promptly and effectively under these challenging conditions. Their commitment to completing the project on time was commendable, and their proactive communication ensured that any questions or concerns were raised and resolved in a timely manner. Clements construction have been working with ASL over the last 5 years carrying out a wide variety of internal and external building fabric and construction projects. From planning stages to onsite delivery I have always experienced a high level of knowledge, expertise and guidance from the internal team or specialist sub contractors required for the given project. Projects have been delivered on time and within budget on every occasion, any post project issue to develop has been addressed promptly without hesitation.
